Anyone who practices yoga will benefit so much more by learning
a little about it. Yoga originated thousands of years ago in India. The physical classes practiced in the West are a very small part of yoga, the word yoga means connection. If you connect with nature you are practicing yoga, if you connect with your breath
you are practicing yoga, if you stand in the mountain and feel into your feet you are practicing yoga.
It is part of a greater system know as Ayurveda which translates as “The Science of Life”
Meaning the study of yourself, your physical
and emotional wellbeing and how to remain balanced by Understanding a little about energy, your energy, the seasons energy, a trees energy. This is something we already feel but most of us take little notice of, as we are too busy in our minds and lives. Sadly
we have never been taught about it, but it was part of every Ancient culture, it is deep in your roots.
