April Newsletter 2020

I hope you are all well and enjoying the cooler days and April sunshine.

I have never seen so many children and families out walking together, it is lovely, no rushing here and there,  ping pong sounds coming from houses and lots of laughter.

This is only the second week of cancelled classes and so far I am settling in to a quieter - ish life. I am still planning classes and recording weekly.

The ideas are still flowing and I canโ€™t stop them!

Can you remember all of the lovely meditations we were practicing before classes were cancelled?

Here is a routine you might like to practice for 5 minutes or make it into a lovely 1 hour meditation class.

1     EARTH

FEEL YOU STRENGTH -                                           Ganesha (Elephant Mudra)

                                                               Join finger tips. As you breath out pull them against                                                                 each other, breath in and relax arms and hands.

                                                                Three breaths, shoulder rolls and swap hands.

2      WATER

EASE & FLOW IN BODY AND MIND                   Moon salutations stand or sit or kneel.

                                                                   Practice each side twice for each position

                                                                   Thirty minute sequence with music is       

                                                                   available on YouTube

3     AIR

LOVE & GRATITUDE -                                   Padma Mudra - Sit for 5 minutes

                                                                 Imagine as you breathe in you are receiving

                                                                 Unconditional love and as you breathe out

                                                                 It flows into the world.

                                                                 Class 3 of the online series is a beautiful

                                                                 Heart Chakra class and begins with this Mudra

4    SPACE

  SOOTHING SOUND                                    Bee breathing or Om Chanting for 5 - 20 mins.
