June/July Newsletter


I am going on holiday for a month over Winter School Holidays. It’s my Mums 80th Birthday and Dave, Rosie and I are going back to England. The last class is the 1st July and our next class is 5th August.


Thank you for all the lovely texts and feedback. I learn so much from you all.

My mobile phone recently lost all names and my groups. If you are not receiving a text every Sunday about the class and want to, please let me know. I may not have been able to find your number. Also if you don’t want to receive texts let me know - all good.


I have finished my kids yoga teacher training which is great . Things have changed for me since I started it last August. I no longer want to teach a lot of classes and keep myself busy, busy, busy.

I love Mondays !

I love teaching and you are all my good friends. Monday is the best start to my week! I thought I would miss Thursdays and Fridays ( I have missed Maree who was the only regular who hasn’t been able to change days unfortunately. If you see her around send her my love.) But I can now have long weekends camping and I have made more space for other things. I still have some lovely ideas for workshops and 4 to 8 week yoga or meditation courses or classes and I have discovered that my house is wonderful for smaller more intimate classes.

If you have any ideas for special classes or workshops let me know.

I already have a class plan for Mothers Day next year ! Strong Women - This was the class I taught for kids yoga accreditation. It is meant for Mums and Daughters what ever their age. If you don’t have a daughter, best mate or daughter in law - works just as well! Kids yoga has to be fun and involves some partner yoga and a lot of connection. I learnt a lot from the course and laughed my way through it!

Bird Song - Living Well with Ayurveda.  

Bird Song is the name of an Online Book I am writing.

“Ayurveda means the science of life. At its heart is the principal of nurturing and looking after your body and mind. It is a true science that looks at the whole picture. Explore with me vegetarian healthy eating, growing your own medicine and meditation.

There will be 52 ideas with a lovely photo/art work. One for each week of the year.

As you look through choose something that appeals to you. Write down what you need. Then turn off your computer or phone and bring it into your REAL life. Organise it and make it happen, give yourself a week before choosing another. 

Along the way as you start meditation, eating healthier and getting back to nature, you will have your own unique and special ideas. Create a better life for yourself, follow your heart.

Start small but dream big!

You have the rest of your life after all.

Keep on learning and enriching your life. “

It is slowly being loaded onto my website and can be easily accessed from your mobile phone. It already has some wonderful meditations for you to practice as well as vegetarian recipes and Herbal Medicine.

When it is finished I hope to get it published.

Using the online book is donation based and 50% of profits go to The Rainforest Trust. Donations  go towards saving forest, endangered species and native peoples habitat. They buy and protect rainforest all over the world.   https://www.rainforesttrust.org/
